Hi again everyone. It’s been way too long since my last post. I apologize for that. Life has been so awesome here in Iceland that I’ve spent a lot of time offline. Anyway, I want to share an experience I had this morning. For some days now I’ve had to deal with some sickness in my body. In a new and interesting Danish TV show named U-TURN, exercise and healthy food is being tested as a substitute to medicine used to treat lifestyle diseases. These diseases include everything from cardiac diseases to depressions and stress. Under the slogan “Walking is man’s best medicine” walking, as a method, is being used to treat the diseases. The training program culminates in a hike of  GR 10, which is the longest hike in the Pyrenees. To think that a group of ‘sick’ and badly conditioned people are able to walk the GR 10, is thought by many as crazy. That is also why the project is seen as an experiment, which the participants all have agreed to take part of, since they want a change to happen
